Since Malcolm has to SEE my idea I drew up a quick concept art. The real thing will have a lot of photoshopped elements though. Real people in a real environment. I think it'll look pretty good if I can find decent enough pictures to manip.

I wasn't being an ass Alicia. But you want to be the one to do the Poster, go for it. We aren't really collaborating at all on art.

Malcolm and Alicia, what paint programs do you two have? We could collaborate if we can share the photoshop files, or even just make individual parts and one of us can piece them together to create the whole.

I have prepared the draft for the first half. Ozzy will work on the second. Feel free to give comments and feedback:
After the opening credits, the movie starts in the United States, year 2199. Times were bad and poverty has struck the once proud nation. Homeless men and women roam the streets looking for a bite to eat. In the distance, a large crowd jostled and shoved to catch a glimpse of a poster stuck on a half-broken wall. A lucrative 10 million dollars prize awaits the winner of a sadistic tournament organized by two devious and scheming individuals…
Fast forward 3 months later, on the beautiful island of Mauritius, 20 individuals arrived by air and sea to gather at the center of the island where a huge, dark ominous building was constructed. Every one of them eyes each other menacingly as the loud voice of Ted resonates throughout the whole island:
“Welcome to Race Wars 2199! Whether you like it or not, the next few weeks will be a living hell and only ONE of you will survive to tell the tale. With that, let the War begin!”
It was a mad scramble immediately after that. Some seek refuge by running into the jungle while a few turned to face each other head on. Sensing a threat to the towering size of Big Tom, he was immediately ganged up on and took down with a multitude of slashes and stabs.
In the jungle, Shii-Ann was cautiously walking along with her customized chopstick-blades when she saw some fish and rice pudding on the ground ahead of her. Feeling a little hungry, she took a step towards it and realized a little too late that it was a trap. She looked up and a huge log speeding towards her at 100mph was the last thing she saw.
On another side of the island, Nate was celebrating his recent one-on-one victory over Colby and was carving him open with his huge pocket knife in order to take his heart and drink his blood. He didn’t notice the red sniping scope light aimed at his forehead. In the blink of an eye, his head was split right open with a bullet to his brain from Kelly’s Sniper Rifle.
As the day draws to a close, Yasmin was in her cabin whispering to herself when she heard noises outside. It was Malcolm and Osten walking towards the hut hoping to seek shelter. Yasmin ambushes them as soon as they opened the door, using her wire to choke Malcolm. Osten desperately tries to help but his Super Soaker wasn’t doing anything. Amidst the squirming and struggle, Malcolm’s hand grenades dropped and rolled free across the cabin floor. Seconds later, a huge explosion can be seen and heard from miles away.
Meanwhile, the two organizers of the event were clearly enjoying themselves as they watched all the action through 50 screens, while eating caviar and sipping champagne. Ghandia, who wanted more excitement, pestered Ted to introduce “The Pit”. Ted reluctantly agreed to it because he wanted to reserve it for the final two competitors.
The next morning, Roxy and Holly were randomly chosen and brought back to the center of the island where they were shoved into The Pit. Ted announces that the only one of them may step out alive and the winner will be pampered with a spa treatment at the island’s only 5-star hotel. Holly started shouting and screaming into her megaphone, hoping to persuade Roxy to give up this madness. Roxy impervious to the ranting, walked up towards Holly. With a mighty swing of her scythe, she split the megaphone in half and decapitated Holly. Bathed in the blood of her opponent, she climbed out of The Pit, took a deep breath and held up her weapon towards the sky as a sign of victory.

Ted and Ghandia, a brother and sister duo. They've made millions in their multiple businesses however they thrived on money and wanted more. Even more then money they loved to be in control. They devised this plan and made it a world wide PPV in close to 100 countries and in 6 continents. They have open betting options online and also selling merchandise. They intend to monopolize this sick and twisted game as much as they can all the while doing it in sheer enjoyment.
THIS WILL BE ADDED AFTER PARAGRAPH ONE ABOVE.
RAMONA WILL BE DOING THE NEXT PART AND I WILL FINISH IT UP.
PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS, FEEDBACK ETC.

Not bad so far, but the characters could use a little more color (i.e. conveying the personalities that Rob and I wrote more clearly -- otherwise it's just "Person A kills Person B then Person C kills Person A").

Malcolm and Alicia, what paint programs do you two have? We could collaborate if we can share the photoshop files, or even just make individual parts and one of us can piece them together to create the whole. I have Photoshop CS3 to use (I used ArtRage2 on that picture I just posted though)

GC Brown we don't want it to be super long remember we have 20+ characters. In the list you made you did a good job detailing each character now we are just going through the summaryand final wrap up. Just waiting for Ramona's middle part and ill finish it up. If someone can give it a read over and make sure spelling and grammar is good. Thanks

I made some basic (simple, not ratchet) edits to improve what was there. I can try and do some proofreading later, if other things get posted. I did this in present tense... I hope it doesn't ruin anything. I think it makes more sense this way, for a script.
The year is 2199. Poverty diminished the United States into a bleak, desolate wasteland. Homeless people of all kinds crawl through the streets in search of sustenance. In the distance, a large crowd jostles to catch a glimpse of a poster tacked on a crumbling wall. A lucrative ten-million-dollar-prize awaits the winner of a sadistic tournament organized by two devious and scheming individuals…
Fast forward 3 months later, on the beautiful island of Mauritius, 20 individuals arrive by air and sea to gather at the center of the island where a tremendous, ominous building stands These desperate competitors menacingly eye one another as a loud voice resonates through the island:
“Welcome to Race Wars 2199!” he begins. “Whether you like it or not, the next few weeks will be a living hell and only ONE of you will survive to tell the tale.” “Hahahahahah” a woman interrupts, cackling. “You have no idea what’s in store for you! With that, let the war begin!”
With little instruction, a mad scramble immediately ensues. Some seek refuge by running into the jungle; whereas, others turn to face each other head on. Towering over others in weight and height, Big Tom becomes a target. He attempts to claw his way out of the onslaught, but his efforts become futile as more people join in ensuring his demise.
In the jungle, Shii-Ann cautiously walks along, wielding culturally-appropriate, customized chopstick-blades. She notices fish and rice pudding on the ground ahead of her. Feeling famished from anxiety, she takes a step toward it, only to realize it is a trap. The last thing she sees is a large log in free fall; it crushes her.
Meanwhile, Nate celebrates as Colby falls to his death by carving him open with a pocket knife. Channeling vampirism, he goes straight for the jugular. He, however, does not notice the red, scope light aimed at his forehead. With the pull of a trigger, his head was split right open with a bullet to his brain from a sniper rifle. As the camera pans up, a woman’s silhouette struts away.
As day one draws to a close, Yasmin rests in her cabin, plotting to herself. Voices outside catch her off guard; Malcolm and Artis walk toward the hut, pursuing shelter. Quickly ready, Yasmin ambushes them upon opening the door, using her wire as a choking mechanism. Malcolm witnesses Artis and Yasmin fighting, and runs away. As he runs, he throws his grenade into the hut, hoping to kill two blacks with one stone. The flying grenade distracts Yasmin, and Artis breaks free. He runs into the forest as Yasmin is detonated.
Behind the scenes, the two organizers of the event, Ted and Ghandia, clearly enjoy themselves as they watch all the action through a multitude of screens. They eat fried chicken and sip grape Kool-aid. Ghandia, who wants more excitement, pesters Ted to introduce “The Pit”. Ted reluctantly agreed to it because he wanted to reserve it for the final two competitors.
The next morning, Ted and Ghandia ask the remaining contestants to vote one white and one black contestant to duel in “The Pit.” Roxy and Holly receive the most votes, and are brought back to the center of the island. Upon jumping into the pit Ted announces that the only one of them will step out alive, and the winner of this duel will be pampered at the island’s only 5-star hotel. Holly started shouting and screaming into her megaphone, hoping to persuade Roxy to give up this madness. Roxy, impervious to the ranting, walks up toward Holly. With a mighty swing of her scythe, she splits the megaphone in half, simultaneously decapitating Holly. Bathed in the blood of her opponent, she climbs out of The Pit. Roxy takes a deep breath and holds up her weapon towards the sky as a sign of victory.

I'm going at this extremely slow, guys. I'm working on it but I am a very slow writer.
Also, I say we include the character descriptions in the final submission because they're all great. I don't think we'll be penalized for length if its a bit long.
